What is a GPA calculator?
A GPA calculator finds your grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Example: A, A, B and A courses give GPA 3.7.
How to use it
Choose a letter grade and credits for each course, then tap Calculate GPA. A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0.
Formula
GPA = total grade points ÷ total credits. Each grade is worth points per credit: A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0.
Example
Points = 4×3 + 4×3 + 3×3 + 4×1 = 12 + 12 + 9 + 4 = 37. Credits = 3 + 3 + 3 + 1 = 10. GPA = 37 ÷ 10 = 3.7.
