Times Table Chart

Times Table Chart

Multiplication table for any number.

What is a times table chart?

A times table chart shows the multiplication table for a number. Example: the 7 times table runs from 7 × 1 = 7 to 7 × 12 = 84.

How to use it

Enter a number and how far the table should go, then tap Show Table.

The 7 times table

7 × 1 = 7, 7 × 2 = 14, 7 × 3 = 21, 7 × 4 = 28, 7 × 5 = 35, 7 × 6 = 42, 7 × 7 = 49, 7 × 8 = 56, 7 × 9 = 63, 7 × 10 = 70, 7 × 11 = 77, 7 × 12 = 84.

Example

To find 7 × 12, count up by 7 twelve times: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 70, 77, 84. So 7 × 12 = 84. The same idea works for any number: multiplying by 12 is the same as multiplying by 10 and adding twice the number (7 × 10 = 70, plus 7 × 2 = 14, gives 84).
